Lamont Young leads Citizens Consumer Digital transformation, which delivers modern, seamless customer experiences across all digital channels. With a laser focus on the customer, his team optimizes the firm’s digital channels and sales to deepen and grow customers in key markets and across the country.
Prior to joining Citizens in 2012, Young held several top leadership positions at Bank of America in online and mobile banking, digital sales, digital media and content development. Before joining Bank of America, Young was the founder and CEO of a start-up firm that provided critical services to growth-stage companies.
Lamont earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Pennsylvania State University and his Master of Business Administration from Winthrop University.
He is a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, the American Marketing Association, the advisory boards for Mass Challenge Fintech, Winthrop University College of Business, the National Association of Black MBAs and Year Up Banking and Customer Success.
