Alejandro Perez

Alejandro Perez is the Chief Administrative Officer at BNY Mellon. He is also a member of BNY Mellon’s Executive Committee.

In his role, Alejandro oversees the company's global operations and enterprise-level functions including human resources, corporate real estate, workplace experience, enterprise resiliency and enterprise sourcing. He is responsible for driving strategic partnerships, operational excellence, innovation, and efficiency across the organization, as well as fostering an inclusive culture that attracts, develops, and retains top talent.

Alejandro joined BNY Mellon in June of 2021 with more than 20 years of experience in the financial services and technology sectors. He has held various senior positions at Goldman Sachs, Bloomberg LP, and Unqork Inc., where he led teams and initiatives that delivered cutting-edge digital solutions to clients and internal stakeholders. 

Alejandro serves as a board member for Project BASTA, a non-profit organization that helps first-generation college students from low-income backgrounds launch their careers, and as an advisory board member for Lenox Park Solutions, a fintech company that provides data and analytics solutions to asset managers and allocators.

Alejandro holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Alabama and an MBA from the Stern School of Business at New York University.
