SVP, Digital Channels Director
Provident Bank
Scott Hurlbert is Senior Vice President and Digital Channels Director at Provident Bank, where he is responsible for the bank’s end-to-end digital and omnichannel strategy, including online and mobile banking, ATMs, contact center operations, and branch-enabled account opening experiences.
Scott brings more than 20 years of experience in banking technology and digital delivery, with a career focused on modernizing financial services through customer-centered design, operational efficiency, and seamless integration across channels. At Provident, he works closely with operations, IT, retail, and product teams to ensure digital capabilities are tightly aligned to in-branch workflows, contact center support models, and evolving customer expectations.
Prior to joining Provident Bank, Scott served as Senior Vice President of Digital Banking at People’s United Bank, where he led the development and delivery of large-scale digital platforms supporting consumer and business customers. His experience spans major core and digital transformations, omnichannel service models, and the practical realities of executing change within regulated financial institutions.
Customers expect consistency across mobile apps, web platforms, voice banking, call centers, and branches—yet most banks still operate in silos where context is lost and journeys restart with each channel switch. This session examines how to build truly omnichannel experiences through real-time context sharing, voice and gesture-based interfaces, and the technical architecture needed to make every interaction feel unified. Panelists will explore the organizational alignment, design systems, and inclusive accessibility strategies required to deliver seamless experiences at scale.
