Pat Saad leads Consumer Digital at Fifth Third Bank, where he is responsible for the strategy, development, and ongoing evolution of the bank’s digital experiences across mobile, online, and emerging platforms. In this role, Pat oversees how millions of customers engage with Fifth Third digitally, with a focus on building secure, intuitive, and customer centered products that drive long term engagement and growth. Since joining Fifth Third, Pat has played a central role in the bank’s digital transformation. He previously led Digital Identity, helping modernize authentication, security, and identity capabilities, and later expanded his responsibilities to modernize the mobile app and overall consumer digital ecosystem. He was named Head of Consumer Digital in 2022.
Pat brings more than two decades of experience spanning software engineering, product management, cybersecurity, and technology consulting. Prior to Fifth Third, he held senior leadership roles at GE Aviation and GE Digital, where he led software engineering and technical product management teams supporting complex, global platforms. Earlier in his career, Pat worked as an associate at Booz Allen Hamilton and as a systems engineer at BAE Systems, supporting Fortune 100 companies and federal government clients.
Pat earned his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from The Ohio State University. He received his master’s in business administration from Xavier University. Pat and his wife, Megan, live in the Cincinnati suburbs with their two elementary school-age children. In his spare time, he enjoys coaching youth soccer, home projects, and is an avid Ohio State fan.
