Bennie Pennington is SVP of Product, Embedded Banking, within Key’s Commercial Bank. Since joining KeyBank in 2021, Bennie has led the strategy, development, and commercialization of solutions that help clients simplify and accelerate how they move money. His work spans embedded banking products including Virtual Accounts, ERP integrations, digital receivables, and fintech-enabled payment experiences. In his role, he oversees product vision, go-to-market strategy, and the partnerships that support integrated payments and digital treasury capabilities throughout the Commercial Bank. Before joining KeyBank, Bennie spent more than a decade in the fintech industry in a variety of strategy and product leadership roles. His experience includes leading product development at Paya, and prior roles at FirstData and Fiserv, where he focused on integrated payments, fraud and security solutions, and software partner ecosystems.
