Arunava Roy is the Global Head of Listed Derivative and Client Clearing Risk Technology at Morgan Stanley and a senior technology leader and architect with over 20 years of experience building enterprise platforms for counterparty risk, margin, and clearing within Prime Broker’s Institutional Securities Group. Since joining Morgan Stanley in 2011, he has led the design and delivery of large-scale risk and analytics systems spanning Listed Derivatives, OTC clearing, Fixed Income Derivatives, helping strengthen risk oversight and enhance decision-making across the firm.
Arunava has built and scaled enterprise applications across Risk Analytics, Real-time limit processing, Cross-asset Historical P&L simulation, and Client shortfall management. He is also driving innovation in AI-enabled workflows for risk management and, in his current role, is leading the adoption of cross-domain agentic pipelines across Prime Brokerage, Listed Derivative, and Clearing Risk businesses.
