Ted Paris serves as Head of Analytics, Intelligence & AI for TD Bank. In this role, Ted is responsible for leading, developing, and advancing the AI strategy and capabilities. In addition to core functional areas such as advanced analytics, business intelligence, regulatory reporting, and strategy and solutions, Ted’s team is charged with prioritizing, scaling, and delivering AI-powered solutions across TD.
Prior to this role, Ted served as Vice President of Product, Strategy, and National Office for TD Direct Investing in Canada, where he developed and articulated the Direct Investing strategy, continuously improving client segmentation to drive customer-focused decision making and working with partners across the business to deepen the engagement with existing ones. He also oversaw the Wealth Black Experience Pillar.
Ted brings more than 25 years of experience across a range of disciplines. He previously worked at Essex Lake Group, where he was instrumental in developing their banking, revenue growth, and analytics practices, leveraging his deep practical operation experience with analytical intelligence know-how. Additionally, Ted served as a member of the Executive Committee for Barclays in Spain, as well as serving as Chief of Staff to the CEO for Barclays GRCB Western Europe. Ted also had stops at Citi Group and Booz Allen Hamilton working on retail banking, insurance, and capital markets projects across the globe.
Ted holds a master’s degree in Public Policy from Harvard University. He lives in Indiana with his wife, Joelle, and their three kids, Amada, Sidney, and Sophia.
