SVP, Alliances & Partner Capabilities

U.S. Bank

Sean Scott has spent his career showing up before the category exists and building the model for it whether in augmented reality, digital marketing, and now inside one of the largest regulated financial institutions in the country.

As SVP at U.S. Bank, Sean leads the build-out of subscription-based financial services, one of the more complex commercial bets in its current digital portfolio. His work centers on foundational platform questions: what capabilities a bank is best positioned to build, how customer relationships are shaped in partnership-driven models, and how to scale sustainably within a highly regulated environment.
Before banking, Sean operated at the edge of emerging platforms, taking an AR product from hobbyist to prosumer, pioneering influencer marketing as a primary GTM strategy before it had a name, and helping agencies graduate from digital maintenance shops to award-winning experiential firms.

Fintech, Cybersecurity & Fraud

With embedded finance projected to reach $7 trillion globally by 2030, the question is no longer whether to collaborate but how to do it profitably and at scale. Leading banks are moving beyond pilot programs to industrialized partnership platforms—white-label BaaS, API marketplaces, and co-innovation labs generating measurable revenue. Yet 40% of bank-fintech partnerships fail to operationalize due to poor alignment, scalability issues, and unclear governance frameworks. This session examines how to structure compliant partnerships that enable speed, navigate revenue-sharing models, and build infrastructure supporting dozens of fintech integrations simultaneously—transforming from “protect the franchise” to “expand the ecosystem” strategies.
