Michael's path to fintech was forged over more than a decade inside the institutions he now serves. From his early days as a Sr. Relationship Banker at Union Bank to leadership roles spanning retail banking, small business, and third-party lending, Michael lived the day-to-day realities of serving bank and credit union consumers firsthand. He spent years pushing for better — better products, better experiences, better outcomes for everyday consumers — often running into the structural and technological limits that legacy banking environments impose. That firsthand frustration became his fuel.
His transition into fintech brought that energy to SavvyMoney, where Michael didn't just join the company — he helped build it. Starting on the partner solutions side, he architected the expansion model that brought SavvyMoney's consumer engagement products to financial institutions across the country, designing the go-to-market strategy that turned partnerships into a scalable growth engine. Over four years, he rose through the organization, ultimately taking the helm as VP of Sales and leading the team that brought those products to scale.
Now at interface.ai, Michael leads a sales organization on a mission to help community banks and credit unions compete, evolve, and truly serve their consumers in the modern age.
